Thank you. ;v; I’d be happy to help if you have any other kinda questions ~ it was a fun costume to make, especially the wig. THOUGH. I found a better way to do it than what I did - which I used on the other side of the wig instead. I found it worked a LOT better than the way I initially did it. Basically it’s the same thing as using the hair cut from the back/bangs, and then just sew the pigtails on instead of stumping/cutting - it looks /WAY/ better. 

Oh yes oh yes. ;v; They are my best frans.

Alright, so now Rigby is completed! Only thing left is a touchup here and there, no big deal, and ta da! I’ve taken some finished pictures for the costume with MC, and her crossed out face. 

The tail was a battle, but the sleeves were the biggest obstacle for us/me. I accidently, without thinking, sewed it inside out AND backwards… definitely not a pretty sight. But all’s well that ends well, and I think this ended pretty damn well. 

Now onto Mordecai. 

Also will be getting my Mistre fabric this weekend - my contacts have probably arrived back home too. 

Alright so here’s some updates on how things are going on  my end. So far Rigby is about 85% done, all that’s left really is to sew the tail completely on the hoodie, and then add some touchups to make sure nothing horrendous is showing. 

The hood was fairly easy - based off a regular jacket’s hood, I lined the inside with a thicker, lighter fleece and the outside with this brown fuzzy fabric in order to give the appeal of fur. Once it was the right size and fitted nicely to MC’s head, I hand sewed the ears together, stuffed them, and then sewed them onto the hood. There is fur ALL over the carpet/floor/hood… I’ll need to sweep that up later.

I think maybe sometime in the future I’ll be doing commissions for cosplay, but maybe not. I haven’t really given it much thought just yet to be honest. And I’d need a serger.. Mn..

This year my friends and I (baretemotomoto), (gingiragingin), and MC will be attending Youmacon 2011 in Detroit, MI. This year we’ve got a bit lined up, and hopefully, because we’re terrible procrastinators - me also - we can get this stuff done in time. Maybe keeping track of myself on this blog will help motivate me, too.  _______________________________________________________________

mordecai - (regular show) I don’t normally do stuff like this… but it was a last minute decision and I thought, eh, what the hell. I’ll be making a hooded jacket for this. 

^ I am cosplaying this probably Thursday/Sunday/Half of Friday.  ))

 kotetsu - I’m pretty hyped for kotetsu, but maybe perhaps right now I’m just… not in my zone. I’m sure once it gets closer to crunch time I’ll feel a bit more secure with this costume. ‘n’ 

^ I will more than likely wear this the other half of Friday, except when it’s time for the ball. Definitely Inazuma for that one. DB ))

mistre - (Inazuma Eleven: The Ogre) Oh boy oh boy oh boy. LOL. You have no freaking idea how excited for this I am. I just hope I don’t like, neglect all my other outfits because I just want to wear this forever and never take it off and… DB. 

^ I will wear this forever. I mean, I’ll wear it for the ball/dance, and all of Saturday. Ohhhh buddy ohhhh pal I’m so amped. ))
